Your Data

Who can read my data?

Nobody beside you. Your data stays on your device. It can be backed up and those back ups can be read outside Activities Matter, but inside Activities Matter all your data is only yours.

Can I download my data?

You can always download your data from the settings. You can either only download your database (SQLite) or a compressed zip file containing your media as well. This won’t affect the data inside your Activities Matter app.

How can I delete my data?

You can delete all your data by deleting your Activities Matter app and any backups you saved outside the app. If you wish to continue using Activities Matter you can download it again.

Do you track what I do?

Yes, there is anonymized app tracking inside Activities Matter. Those events aren’t shared with any third party beside the tracking software and are used to hint how many people use which features of Activities Matter. You can always turn off tracking completely from the settings.

App Usability

I lost my streak. What can I do?

You can add your mood up to 2 days back, meaning yesterday and the day before. The main reason is that everybody lives a busy life and sometimes you might miss adding your mood on the exact day. This should not be punished by you losing your streak. Nonetheless, further than 2 days it’s unlikely you really remember how you felt, which is why this is the limit.
